General Public

Mission Beach and its local businesses will be accessible at all times. All parking lots not used for the event and not closed during the races are for the use of the general public and for local residents. Spectators and participants of the Omegawave Triathlon San Diego are required to use off-site parking and use the shuttle bus to travel to and from the venue.

For specific road closures on Friday and Saturday, click on the interactive maps below. The maps also provide information on affected parking lots and alternate parking options. Please plan ahead for your travels. Use the provided interactive maps and be sure to plan well in advance.

 

 

 

Interactive Road Closure Map
Using the interactive road closure map will help you to find out which streets are closed at specific times.

Friday, April 19, 2013:
On Friday, April 19 road closures begin at 1:30 p.m. and end at approximately 5:45 p.m..

Saturday, April 20, 2013:
On Saturday morning, there will be partial road closures from 5:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.. A full road closure will be in place during the Elite race in the afternoon from 2:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m.

 

Interactive Parking Lot Map / Shuttle Bus Service
Parking including street parking will be severely impacted during the Omegawave World Triathlon San Diego.

"NO PARKING, TOW AWAY" signs will be prominently displayed 72 hours prior to the no parking rule being enforced / the event taking place. 

Certain Mission Beach parking lots are used for the event staging. Please use the interactive map above to get detailed information about impacted parking lots.
