Residents

Mission Beach will ALWAYS be accessible for local residents throughout the entire event period. Course crossing will be managed by Special Event Traffic Control ensuring safe travels into and out of Mission Beach. Expect delays and please plan ahead! The interactive maps below are a helpful tool to assist you in planning your route. They provide information on the road closure times for Friday and Saturday as well as details on affected parking lots and alternate parking options.

Interactive Road Closure Map
Using the interactive road closure map will help you to find out which streets are closed at specific times.

Friday, April 19, 2013:
On Friday, April 19 road closures begin at 1:30 p.m. and end at approximately 5:45 p.m..

Saturday, April 20, 2013:
On Saturday morning, there will be partial road closures from 5:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.. A full road closure will be in place during the Elite race in the afternoon from 2:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m.

 

Interactive Parking Lot Map / Shuttle Bus Service
Parking including street parking will be severely impacted during the Omegawave World Triathlon San Diego.

"NO PARKING, TOW AWAY" signs will be prominently displayed 72 hours prior to the no parking rule being enforced / the event taking place. Please be sure to check your street for these signs.

Certain Mission Beach parking lots are used for the event staging. Please use the interactive map above to get detailed information about impacted parking lots.

Alternate parking for residents will be provided!
