Volunteers

First of all: Thank you for your time and for helping to make this a great event for all participants and spectators! This event would not be possible without you!

Volunteer parking will be provided in the Hospitality Parking Lot; please see map below. It is located close to the venue to ensure your timely arrival at the venue and is being serviced by a shuttle bus that runs continuously between the lot and the shuttle drop-off point in the venue.

Interactive Road Closure Map
Using the interactive road closure map will help you to find out which streets are closed at specific times.

Friday, April 19, 2013:
On Friday, April 19 road closures begin at 1:30 p.m. and end at approximately 5:45 p.m..

Saturday, April 20, 2013:
On Saturday morning, there will be partial road closures from 5:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.. A full road closure will be in place during the Elite race in the afternoon from 2:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m.

 

Interactive Parking Lot Map / Shuttle Bus Service
Parking including street parking will be severely impacted during the Omegawave World Triathlon San Diego.

"NO PARKING, TOW AWAY" signs will be prominently displayed 72 hours prior to the no parking rule being enforced / the event taking place.

To reduce traffic in and around the venue area, all athletes and spectators are required to use the off-site Sunrunner Parking Lot.

A shuttle bus will run continuously between the Sunrunner Lot and the venue. Open parking lots near the venue are designed for residents and the general public only and will be monitored by security.
